- Switching between open Safari tabs by swiping on the tab bar can be laborious, especially if you have a lot of them open. The Tabs button, on the other hand, allows you to rapidly navigate from the first to the last tab, or wherever in between.
- Start your iPhone's Safari browser and open a few tabs with different websites. On the right (top or bottom, depending on where you've set the tab bar), tap the 'Tabs' button (two cascading squares).
- Safari tabs will appear in a card-style grid. You can switch to any tab by scrolling and tapping, which is faster than swiping through other open tabs.
