**iOS System Software Update** Each iOS update brings bug fixes and improvements, some of which may immediately cure an issue you're having with the [**Safari**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/95500/why-are-my-favorites-not-showing-up-in-safari) app on your iPhone or iPad. It's simple to update iOS. Go to the Settings app and **select 'General,' then 'Software Update' and install any updates** that are available. As always, make a backup of your iPhone or iPad before updating the system software. \
**Restart your iPhone or iPad.** Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears on the front of the screen, then let go. This may force the iPhone to restart, which may help to resolve some difficulties. \
