The **India Tourism Development Corporation** is a government-owned hotel, retail, and education corporation that falls under the **Ministry of Tourism in India**. It was founded in 1966 and now owns around 17 hotels in **[India](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/95381/what-is-the-name-of-the-portable-app-linked-device-created-by-the-indian-institute-of-technology-kanpur-for-soil-testing)** under the Ashok Group of Hotels name. \

Patra was named **Chairman** of the India Tourism Development Corporation on November 30, 2021.
