- **Deactivate Account**: First, you must deactivate your [Telegram](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/95279/what-are-the-effective-ways-to-use-the-telegram-app) account. To cancel your Telegram account, go to the Telegram account deactivation page.
- On the Telegram deactivation page, enter the phone number associated with your Telegram account.
- Enter the code you received in the Telegram app on the page to verify and delete your Telegram account. Give a reason for deleting the Telegram account and then **click Delete.**
- **Create a new Telegram account:** To use Telegram again, you'll need to create a new account.
- **Rejoin a Telegram group after being banned:** You can now look for a Telegram group and rejoin it after being banned. To rejoin the group, please search or click the private link.
