Channels are a way to broadcast messages to huge groups of people. In actuality, a channel can have an endless number of subscribers.. When you post in a channel, your message is signed with the name and photo of the channel, not your own. When a message in a channel is viewed, including forwarded copies, it has a view counter that is updated.

- **A username is assigned to public channels**. Anyone can join them by searching for them on Telegram. Private channels are closed communities; to join, you must be invited by the owner or get an invite link.
- If there are any content conflicts, please keep in mind that private channels with publicly accessible invite links will be considered the same as public channels.
