- By patrolling the web, [**Google**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/95759/how-do-google-select-ads-for-adsense) discovers new web pages, which they subsequently add to their index. They achieve this with the help of Googlebot, a web spider.
- Crawling is the process of searching the internet for new content by following hyperlinks.
- The technique of storing every web page in a large database is known as indexing.
- A web spider is a piece of software that automates the crawling process.
- Googlebot is a web spider created by Google.
- Go to the **Google Search Console website.**
- To use the URL inspection tool, first go to the URL inspection tool.
- In the search bar, paste the URL you want Google to index.
- Allow Google to verify the URL.
- Select 'Request indexing' from the drop-down menu.
- When you publish a new post or page, you should follow this procedure. You're effectively informing Google that you've uploaded something fresh to your website that they should check out.
