- On Windows, you're using the mail app: Windows Live Mail 2012 has lost the ability to connect to Outlook accounts. To access the Outlook website, Windows Live Mail users must use a web browser or another software.
- Your Outlook.com account and the Outlook app are not linked: Make sure your outlook account on your mobile device is connected. To send emails, you must be linked to your phone.
- You changed your password recently: If you changed your password on Outlook.com recently, you'll need to do the same on your Outlook mobile app. . If you do not do this, you will not be able to log into your outlook account from your mobile device.
