**Steps to stop downloading old emails in [Outlook](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/95223/how-do-i-fix-yahoo-mail-not-working-with-outlook) 2007:**

- **To access the Send/Receive Groups dialogue box, click the following link:-**In Outlook 2007, go to Tools > Options, then to the Mail Setup tab, and then to the Send / Receive button.
- **Click the Edit button** in the Send & Receive Groups dialogue box.
- Select the email count in the left bar of the new Send & Receive Setting – All Accounts dialogue box, then click the Account Properties button.
- In the Internet E-mail Settings dialogue box, go to the Delivery section under the Advanced tab, and disable the Leave a copy of messages on the server temporarily.
- **Click OK button to exit the dialogue box.** After you configuring the accounts’ setting, it will automatically avoid downloading duplicate emails that caused by multiple email accounts receiving same emails.
