Follow these steps:

- Start Adobe Acrobat and perform one of the following tasks: **Open a [PDF](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/95163/how-do-i-convert-multiple-files-to-pdf) from the desktop or within another application**

   1. From the **Home > Recent view, select a file to open.**
   2. **Select File > Open** from the File menu. Select one or more filenames in the Open dialogue box and **click Open**. The extension.pdf is commonly used for PDF documents.

   - Open the email message and **double-click the PDF icon to open the PDF attachment.**
   - Click the PDF file link to open a PDF connected to an open web page. In most cases, the PDF will open in a web browser.
   - In your file system, **double-click the PDF file icon.**
