**To spell-check a document, follow these steps:** 1**. Select Check Spelling » from the Edit menu.** Start in Comments, Fields, and Editable Text... 2. Select the most suited option:

- Ignore Ignores only the word's present occurrence.
- Ignore All Ignores any and all instances of the term.
- The word is added to the [**dictionary**](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dictionary).
- Only the current occurrence of the term is changed to the suggested spelling.
- All occurrences of that particular term are changed to the proposed spelling.
