The **Select tool** automatically changes the kind of information under the cursor based on what it recognises. To copy the selected text into another application, use the Copy, Copy with Formatting, Export Selection As, and Paste commands. Keep the following in mind: - If you can't choose text, it's possible that the text is part of an image.
