You can utilize the recovery tools on your installation media, such as a DVD or USB, to rebuild your Windows installation if the BCD is missing. Then, **take the following steps:** \

1. **Restart your computer** after inserting the Windows bootable installation DVD.
2. When requested to select a key to boot from a CD or DVD, select any key to proceed.
3. In the Windows Setup interface, select your language settings and then **click Next.**
4. In the bottom-left corner, **select Repair your machine.**
5. Select Troubleshoot from the Choose an option menu.
6. **Select Automatic Repair** from the Advanced Settings screen.) Wait for Windows to finish its automatic repair.
