**Put the computer in Safe Mode and see if it works.** \
1. Turn on your computer. When you get to the sign-in screen, press and hold the Shift key while selecting the Power button, then **Restart.** \
2**. Select [Troubleshoot](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50838/how-to-troubleshoot-an-iphone-6-that-has-a-black-screen-or-that-won-t-turn-on-other-issues) > Advanced options > Startup settings > Restart** after your PC has restarted. You should see a number of options after your computer restarts. To enter Safe Mode with Networking, press 5 or F5. \
If the problem remains, **try repairing the startup.** \
1. Create Windows 10 installation media on a functional PC by going to the Microsoft software download website. \
2. Restart your computer after inserting the installation disc you made. \
3. **Select Repair your computer** from the Install Windows screen. **Select Troubleshoot** from the Choose an option screen. After that, you can use Safe Mode. **Select Advanced Options > Startup Repair.** \
