**Follow these instructions to restore Windows 10 to its [factory default settings](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50484/how-to-reset-your-iphone-x-to-factory-defaults-using-itunes) without losing your files:**

1. **Open the Settings menu.**
2. **Select Update & Security** from the drop-down menu.
3. **Select Recovery.**
4. Click the Get started option under the **'Reset this PC**' section.
5. Select the option to keep my files.
6. Next, **press the Next button.**
7. (Optional) Select the option to remove a list of apps.
8. Check the apps that will need to be reinstalled after the factory reset.
9. Return to the previous page by pressing the Back button.
10. **Reset the computer by pressing the Reset button.**
11. The device will be **reset to factory settings o**nce you've completed the instructions.
