**Steps to change a networking group in [Windows](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/95008/how-do-i-fix-sound-issues-in-windows-10) 10:**

- On your keyboard, press the Windows Icon. Press enter after typing Edit Group Policy. Double-click the Network you want to alter in **Local Computer Policy > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Network List Manager Policies.**
- Change the Location Type to either Public or Private under the Network Location menu. Because selecting Public may activate some Firewall settings that may block traffic on your network, you should use Private.
