**Apps can't be installed or updated in the [Windows](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/95021/how-do-i-fix-the-inaccessible-boot-device-error-in-windows-10) Store.** \
The issue develops as a result of your system's excessive cache files, which can cause a variety of problems, including this one. Cleaning those cached files could remedy the problem, which can be done by following these steps: \

1. To open the Run dialogue, **press the Win+R key**s together.
2. **Click OK after typing 'WSReset.exe.'**
3. A blank, black window will appear, which will close after some time. If not, open Windows Store and try installing or updating apps now — it will work.
