# Why are PDF files not opening in the Chrome browser?

In Most of the latest version of chrome is not there so Update the chrome by following these steps:

**Step 1:** To update the Chrome Browser, go to the upper right corner of the browser and **click the three vertical dots**.

**Step 2**: Select Help from the context menu, then About Google Chrome from the **left-hand sub-menu.** **Step 3:** Google Chrome begins to update itself. To make the update take effect, click the Relaunch icon next to it and restart the browser. This should fix the problem of your [**PDF**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/94948/how-do-i-delete-a-pdf-file) not opening. \
