Some programs may work better with an earlier version of Windows than with the most recent version. \ Use compatibility mode if you're using an Adobe version that isn't compatible with the current version of Windows. To do so, take the following steps: 1. **Go to Properties by right-clicking** on the Adobe Acrobat shortcut. 2. In the Properties box, go to the Compatibility tab. 3. Compatibility mode should be checked. 4. Select any previous Windows version from the drop-down menu. 5. **Select Apply** and then OK.
