- Make sure you have the most recent version of **Adobe Reader DC** installed, then check for any pending Adobe Reader DC updates via help>check for updates. After updating Adobe Reader, restart the machine.
- When downloading [**Acrobat**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/94922/how-do-i-get-adobe-acrobat-reader-dc) Reader, you could run into certain problems. This usually happens for one of the following reasons:
- Your machine is not connected to the Internet, or your Internet settings are incorrect.
- It's time to update your antivirus software.
- It's possible that you're not connected to the Adobe server.
