- It could take as little as three months or as long as four years to become an **Android developer.** It all relies on your decision. Although universities may not offer entirely Android development degree programmes, you can take Android development courses as part of a software development, mobile app development, or computer science curriculum.
- There are accelerated computer science degree programmes available online that can be finished in two and a half years. Shorter paths to Android development include bootcamps and self-study.
