# I have access to the phone I used to start a Google account, and it still won't verify the account. What can I do?

- Complete the task or choose More ways to verify on the **'Verify it's you'** screen. You'll have some or all of the following choices:
- A prompt will be sent to your phone.
- Receive a verification code by text message.
- On your Android device, get a security code.
- On your Android device, use your screen lock or fingerprint.
- Make use of the security key that was added to your Google Account.
- Follow the on-screen instructions and, when requested, use your phone.
