- **Clear Data from the Google App to Stop It From Crumbling Issues.** Locate the Google app in the app drawer on your Android phone. To reach the Google app's Settings page, long click it and tap the I button (App Info). You can alternatively go to Settings -> Apps & notifications -> See all apps -> Google to get to this page the old-fashioned way.
- **When you're on the Google app's settings page, tap 'Storage & cache.'-**To resolve the crash issue, uninstall Google App Updates. Another option for resolving the vexing Google app glitch is to uninstall the most recent update that triggered the problem. In your phone's app drawer, look for the Google app. To reach the Google app's Settings page, long click it and tap the I button (App Info). Press 'Uninstall updates' from the vertical three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the Google app settings screen, then 'OK' to confirm.
