- You can **free up space on your phone** to download additional apps and media or to make your phone function faster.
- [**Data**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/94799/if-i-clear-cached-data-will-my-photos-or-my-game-progress-also-be-clear), such as music and images, are stored in storage.
- Memory is where programmes, such as apps and the Android operating system, are stored.
- You can remove the copies on your phone if you back up with Google Photos. Using Wi-Fi or mobile data, you can view the backed-up copies in the app.
- To remove content from Google Play, follow these steps: Launch the Google Play app that contains the material, such as Play Music or Play Movies & TV. Select Menu, then Settings, and then Manage Downloads from the drop-down menu. Remove after tapping Downloaded Downloaded.
- Using a USB cord, you may transfer files and folders to a computer and subsequently erase them from your phone.
- Android is in charge of app memory usage. The majority of the time, you don't need to close apps. If an app isn't responding, though, try shutting it.
