- It's possible that your **[DNS](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50254/what-is-forward-and-reverse-lookup-in-dns) servers are down,** preventing your phone from resolving IP addresses. You may be unable to access a variety of online services as a result of this.
- Changing your DNS servers is one approach to fix this. You can use Google Public DNS, which is usually up and running.
- Here's how to configure your phone's DNS servers:
- Tap the cog symbol next to your Wi-Fi network in **Settings > Wi-Fi & network > Wi-Fi.**
- At the top, tap the edit icon.
- Select Static from the IP settings menu after expanding Advanced options.
- In DNS 1, type 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 in DNS 2.
- Tap Save after entering a custom IP address in the IP address field.
