- You upgraded to a new version of Google Chrome for Windows 10 and observed that the UI of Google Chrome had unexpectedly changed to a **new Dark Mode** or Dark Theme (User Interface). Without your permission, the title bar, toolbar, menus, and everything else turned dark or black.
- When you disable Dark app mode in Windows 10 via the **Settings -> Personalization -> Colors page, Dark Mode** in the [**Google Chrome**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/95980/how-can-i-enable-and-disable-window-naming-in-google-chrome-or-edge-browser) web browser is also disabled.
- If you've installed a dark mode theme, you'll need to change it in the browser's settings. : On your computer, launch Google Chrome. : In the top-right area, click the three-dot menu. From the menu, choose Settings.- Next, pick Appearance from the left-hand sidebar. Select Themes from the drop-down menu. Select a Light theme from the themes menu, and you're ready to go.
