- If the problem is with an internet-connected app, **rebooting your router** should be your first step.
- It's possible that, like the router, your network adapter is acting up. You'll need to use the Command Prompt to accomplish this.
- Select Run as administrator from the Start menu after typing 'Command Prompt.'
- Now type 'netsh winsock reset' into the command prompt and press Enter.
- Restart the computer to see if the problem has been resolved.
- To customise and control [**Google**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/94717/how-do-i-update-my-google-browser) Chrome, open the browser and go to Customize and control Google Chrome (the three dots in the upper-right corner of the browser).
- Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
- Now, on the left-hand side of the screen, click Advanced > System.
- Then toggle the Use hardware acceleration when available switch to off. There will be a Relaunch option available. Click it to shut down Chrome, then relaunch it automatically to see whether the slow loading issue persists.
