- Request that a buddy in the group add you.
- If the group is open to the public, find it on WhatsApp and click the 'join' button.
- If the group is private, request to be added by the administrator.
- No one can add you to a WhatsApp group without your consent if you enable Group Privacy settings on your smartphone. WhatsApp's new group privacy options are accessible on both Android and iOS.
