- Because the VoIP calling feature was not accessible in earlier editions, downloading an older version of **[WhatsApp](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/94524/what-are-the-features-of-whatsapp)** will prevent you from using it. Before you delete the current version of WhatsApp from your phone, ensure sure you've backed up all of your messages.
- On your smartphone, open WhatsApp. Go to the 'Settings' section of the menu. Go to 'Chat Settings' and select 'Chat Backup' to save your chat history. Select the 'BACK UP' option.
- Once you've backed up your conversations, you can download the previous WhatsApp version (2.12.4 or earlier) from this link. Please provide your phone number.
- To recover all of WhatsApp's conversations, media, and videos, select 'Restore.'
- You must first back up all of your WhatsApp conversations before using the **GBWhatsApp app.**
- GBWhatsApp is a free app that you can download. Ensure that unknown sources are allowed on your phone in order for the app to install properly.
- When the installation is finished, restore your conversations, media, and other data from the backup.
- To access the 'Settings' area of the GBWhatsApp app, press the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Select 'Other MODS' from the GB settings.
- '**Disable voice calls'** should be selected.
- All incoming voice calls will then be blocked by GBWhatsApp. otherwise you stop notification of calls on latest version
