- A **bad Internet connection** is the most typical reason for you not being able to send or receive WhatsApp [messages](https://www.mindstick.com/news/4166/google-rolling-out-gemini-extensions-for-messages-whatsapp-and-spotify).
- There are a few reasons why [**WhatsApp**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/94551/how-can-we-send-one-time-seen-pictures-over-whatsapp) messages aren't coming through if your phone is connected to the Internet:
- It's time to restart or turn off and on your phone.
- Your phone number has been blocked by the person you're messaging.\
- You haven't finished the first step of the verification process.
- On your phone, the number of the person you're trying to communicate on WhatsApp hasn't been saved correctly.
- Search for WhatsApp in the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, and if an **Update button** appears next to the app, touch it to install the most recent updates.
- If you use WhatsApp frequently to transmit conversations and media files, the app's cache may limit or prevent you from using certain functions. By clearing the cache, you can eliminate temporary WhatsApp files.
