As a result, updating to Android 4.4.1 will resolve the issue. - Some users stated that the issue was resolved when they used Clean Master App to delete all of the junk files. - If your handset is running Android 4.4 Kitkat, Whatsapp claims that the only method to fix the problem is to delete the /data/data folder. However, there is a catch: to erase this folder, your smartphone must be rooted. - If your phone isn't rooted, the only option to restore factory settings is to'reset your device.'
