**Quick Fix 1**

- If you haven't already done so, I recommend restarting your computer. A **quick reboot** might resolve several small difficulties.
- By pushing the power button for 10 seconds, you may force a **shutdown**. Then, to **restart your computer**, push it once more.

**Quick Fix 2**

- Press the Windows logo **key + Ctrl + Shift + B** to try to wake up the screen.
- If you're using a tablet, **hit the volume up** and down **buttons three times** in two seconds.
- while Windows tries to bring the screen back to life, you'll hear a little beep.

**Quick Fix 3**

- If you see a pointer on a black screen, Windows Explorer has to be restarted.
- To launch the Task Manager, use **Ctrl + Alt + Delete or Ctrl + Shift + Esc.**
- Look for Windows Explorer under the Processes tab.
- By **right-clicking on the context menu,** select Restart.
- Alternatively, go to **Task Manager's menu** area and pick File.
- Choose New Task, **type explorer.exe**, and then click OK.
