- You have complete control over who can access your **[Skype](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/94328/how-can-i-find-out-my-skype-id) profile information and status.** Some information is visible to everyone, but if you don't want it displayed in your profile, you can leave it blank. Your email address is not shown in Skype. When someone looks at your profile, no one can see it. **Only friends** who already know your email address will be able to find you using it.
