**Nuremberg Trials were conducted between 20 November 1945 to 1 October 1946** \

**What are Nuremberg Trials?** **This was the series of military tribunals** that were held **under [international law](https://www.un.org/en/our-work/uphold-international-law) and the laws of War**. This is the **biggest Trial of History** that **happened in Germany in Nuremberg**. This was held for the prosecution of prominent members of the political, military, judicial, and economic leadership of **Nazi Germany** especially for those, **who participated in one way or the other in any Holocaust and other war crimes.** \
After the ending of the **[Second World War](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/31150/second-world-war-started-in-which-year)**, many leaders were involved in the criminal activity in the war, including the military, doctors, politicians, and other leaders of the system. Hence to take action against all such people the international military tribunal was formed and the Trials were done in front of the tribunal. \
**The judges and the Chief Prosecutors** There were many judges and Prosecutors and is said that **each of the four countries will provide a judge** and **alternative**, as well as a **prosecutor.** Some of the names of the judges are as follows. \
