**India** decided to go on [space](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/341629/the-role-of-private-companies-in-the-future-of-space-exploration) when he set up the **Indian National Committee for space [research](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/311609/how-to-research-the-companies-before-applying-to-their-open-positions) (INCOSPAR).** It decided to go on space and this was the starting of India to enjoy the ride of Indian space, Dr. Vikram Sarabhai at their helm, later on, it set up the **[Thumba Equatorial Rocket Launching Station (TERLS) in Thiruvananthapuram](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/94160/where-is-thumba-equatorial-rocket-launching-station-situated)** for upper atmospheric research. The Indian space research organization was superseded by the **INCOSPAR**. **Vikram Sarabhai** has identified the development nature of space science in the development of the country and he showed the path of success in the developing nation. \

In the vision of the Sarabhai, **the ISRO showed his excellence and he made out the space agency in such a way that it can provide the best services according to their potential.** Apart from a technological study he also contributed to the study of science in the different fields of mapping, statics, broad knowledge of atmosphere, and many more also the ISRO was made after the establishment of the INCOSPAR. This shows the lagging period between both the agencies. ISRO is moving ahead in the development of modern equipment in the field of nuclear power and given useful instruments for the defense of India. \
