By the way, Gurugram's old name was ***Gurgaon***, and it is the second-largest city in the state of Haryana. It is a reflection of an ideal modern city and future goals. According to our official records, this city, known as ***Gurugram***, has evolved from a sleepy city to a fast-growing urban center in a very short time. Witnessing rapid urbanization, Gurugram has become a major financial and industrial center with the third-highest per capita income in India. The rise of the city into an economic stronghold began with the establishment of Maruti Suzuki India Limited and today it harms hundreds of Fortune 500 computers. The city of Gurugram (Gurgaon) was named after Dronacharya, the distinguished teacher of our historical text Mahabharata (epic). It is believed that Dronacharya was gifted to this ancestral village by his disciples, Pandavas, and Kauravas.
