The **first woman [Chief Minister](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/45352/how-corrupt-is-chief-minister-mamata-banerjee) of Indian State was “Sucheta Kriplani”**. She was the 4th **Chief Minister of “Uttar Pradesh”**, and the first woman Chief Minister of any Indian state.
