The Championship event involves a total of 10 teams, including the defending champions [South Korea](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/40070/what-are-the-most-popular-social-media-networks-in-south-korea) as the participant.

The 8th edition of Asian Youth Women Handball Championship 2019, will be **organized from August 21, 2019, to August 30, 2019**. It will be the first time that the tournament will be hosted by the world famous Pink city i.e. Jaipur. **Earlier [Delhi](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/52130/who-has-address-the-17th-investiture-ceremony-of-border-security-force-bsf-in-new-delhi) had hosted the same tournament in the year 2015 where the hosts India had finished with 7th place**. So far the tournament has been single-handedly dominated by the South Korean team who has emerged as the champion in the all the previously conducted 7 editions of the [tournament](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/52122/who-won-the-women-s-singles-title-at-the-2019-madrid-open-tennis-tournament) held so far. \

Its presen**t President is ‘Sheikh Ahmed Al-Fahad Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah**’. The championship will be organized by the ‘Asian Handball Federation’ (AHF).
