Sheheryar and Director General (News) Ms. Ira Joshi received the Award** in an event organized at New Delhi. The **award was presented by the Secretary in the Information and Broadcasting Ministry Amit Khare** in the event. The **Swachhata Pakhwada event was started on April 2016 with having the objective of putting forward a fortnight of intense focus on the concerned issues and practicing Swachhata by engaging [Government of India](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/30639/which-state-government-of-india-has-instituted-the-iqbal-samman-award) Ministries/Departments under its jurisdictions.** The Awards Ceremony and the **Summit was inaugurated by the Guest of Honour Shri Hardeep Singh Puri the Honourable Union Minister of State** (Independent Charge) for Housing and Urban Affairs. In the event the **Life Time Achievement award was presented to Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, the Founder of Sulabh International.** \
The Swachhata Pakwada Summit was attended by more than three hundreds delegates from the numerous companies, public sector enterprises, Corporate Foundations, MSMEs & NGOs working for Indian people under Central/State [Government](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/218/omg-is-it-a-government-school), Municipalities, Village Panchayat, SMEs, and Start-ups.
