[**The 2022 Asian Games**](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_Asian_Games) sports event will take place in Hangzhou in China. Hangzhou will be the third Chinese city to host the event succeeded by Beijing in 1990 and Guangzhou in 2010. \

The event will be comprised of 46 games - the 33 set to highlight at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, just as six from Paris 2024, two set forward by the Local Organizing Committee, and a game from every one of Asia's five areas. \

At the 2018 [**Olympic Council**](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/48078/who-were-the-first-olympic-tennis-champions-for-men) of Asia (OCA) General Assembly in Jakarta, authorities guaranteed the 2022 Asian Games will be the beginning of new story for Hangzhou. \

With an excess of 10 metro stations and two between city railroads to be finished by 2022, the city is set to be changed quickly. It comes as a major aspect of the general crucial change for Hangzhou which set to be transformed into a world-level city. \

Hangzhou was picked to have the 2022 Asian Games by the OCA at its General Assembly in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan in September 2015. It was the main bidder for hosting. Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang Province and the neighborhood political, monetary and social focus city of China. The 2022 Asian Games are booked to happen from September 10 to 25.
