The **colour, size, theme, location of security features, and design elements of the new Rs.500 notes** differ from those of the current series. The new note is **63mm x 150mm in dimension**. The notes are stone **grey in colour**, with the major new motif being the **Red Fort**, an Indian cultural monument. \
Observe **The New Rs. 500 Note** has the following features: \

- **Look at the register in denominational numerals.\ \**
- **With denominational numerals as a latent picture\ \**
- **Devanagari denominational numeral\ \**
- **Mahatma Gandhi's image has had its orientation and relative position modified.\ \**
- **When the note is tilted, the windowed security thread changes colour from green to blue.\ \**
- **Guarantee Clause, Governor's signature, Promise Clause, and RBI insignia to the right\ \**
- **Watermarks for portraits and electrotypes\ \**
- **On the top left and bottom right sides, there is a number panel with numerals that rise in size from small to large.\ \**
