**Resetting all of [your iPhone](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50411/what-to-do-if-your-iphone-x-can-t-be-detected-by-computer)'s settings** may assist, especially if the new update instantly overrides your present settings, resulting in a dispute. Unlike a factory reset, this reset has no effect on your iPhone data, therefore no data is lost.

1. From the **Home screen, choose Settings.**
2. Select **General.**
3. **Reset** may be found by scrolling down and tapping it.
4. Choose **Reset All Settings** from the drop-down menu.
5. Enter the devic**e passcode** if asked.
6. Then, to complete the **settings reset,** press the choice.

Restart pairing by turning on Bluetooth and following the instructions above.
