If an app restart doesn't work, the next step should be to conduct a soft reset or restart on your **iPhone X**. A soft reset or device restart is a highly suggested treatment for minor software problems and issues. You don't need to back up [your iPhone](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50411/what-to-do-if-your-iphone-x-can-t-be-detected-by-computer) data because it won't affect any of your other devices. This procedure is likely to resolve random system faults and small app troubles. Here's how to perform a soft reset on your iPhone X: \
1. For a few seconds, **press and hold the Side/Power button** and either Volume button simultaneously. ![How to fix Netflix that keeps crashing, not working on your iPhone SE after updating to iOS 11.3.1](https://answers.mindstick.com/questionanswer/d8613453-4d22-4cba-8751-ddb57f26af2e/images/3e7de6cc-deb5-4fd0-8a71-ee5c00813bc1.jpeg)\
2. Release the buttons when you get the Slide to **Power off instruction.** 3. To **turn off your phon**e, slide the Power switch to the right. 4. Press and **hold the Side/Power button for around 30 seconds**, or until the Apple logo shows. When your iPhone X has fully booted up, launch Netflix again and see if it’s already working properly.
