If a program isn't up to date, it might go rogue after installing a new system update. This is most often the result of a **large iOS** upgrade transition. Because the minimum system requirements for programs may vary, the app may already be operating in an unsupported version. As a result, the program will not operate on the new platform effectively. App developers, seeing these possibilities, deploy upgrades shortly before or after a major iOS version is published. You'll have to do it manually if you haven't set your applications or device to install updates automatically. On your **[iPhone SE](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/51459/why-does-your-iphone-se-keep-prompting-liquid-has-been-detected-warning-and-how-to-fix-it)**, follow these steps to check for and install pending app updates: 1. From the **Home screen**, tap the App Store icon. 2. Tap the Updates symbol in the lower right corner of the App Store main screen. The screen then displays a list of applications that have outstanding updates. ![How to fix Spotify app that doesn’t load or not working on your iPhone SE following an iOS update](https://answers.mindstick.com/questionanswer/27e4ec1b-36db-4737-b2e8-1b1fa2faba8c/images/fe4bbbc4-a733-47c3-9746-bb7f687f8aae.jpeg) 3. From the list, locate the **Spotify app** and touch the Update icon next to it. The Spotify app's pending update will then be installed. 4. If you notice further app updates available, touch the Update All icon in the **upper right corner** of the screen to update all of them at once. Allow all applications to complete their updates before rebooting or soft-resetting your i**Phone SE** to activate the new app adjustments. Don't forget to give Spotify a spin to see whether it's already up and running.
