The agreement established the borders between the British Government in Northern America and the United States of America, with the former receiving '**exceptionally favorable**' terms. Fishing grounds, asset recovery, and captured soldiers were among the provisions. \ The Peace of Paris refers to this agreement, as well as the independent peace agreements between British Empire and the [countries](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/93600/what-is-the-quad-group-and-which-countries-are-involved-in-this) who backed the American cause—France, Spanish, and also the Dutch Republic.
