Your iPhone should be **restarted or rebooted.** A simple reboot on the device can frequently solve software-related issues, especially minor ones. Follow these instructions to restart your [iPhone 6s](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50387/how-to-fix-apple-iphone-6s-problem-on-calls-that-go-straight-to-voicemail): \

- **Keep holding the Sleep**/Wake **button down** until the red slider appears.
- To **turn the iPhone off,** move your finger across the slider.
- Hold down the **Sleep/Wake butto**n for a few seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen.

If the restart goes OK, you can attempt force-quitting the app that you believe is causing the problem. Follow these instructions to force an app to shut or quit: \

- Go to the main menu and **select 'Home.'**
- Tap the **Home button twice fast** from the Home screen.
- Swipe the **screen upwards.**

If a restart isn't possible, you can instead do a hard reset on your iPhone. To proceed with a hard reset, please use the second approach.
