When you enable your phone's incoming email notification feature, you'll be notified when an email arrives in your inbox. To use this functionality, follow these steps: \

1. From the Home screen, **select Settings.**
2. Sounds can be **tapped.**
3. To continue**, tap New Mail.**
4. Change or **customize the Vibration** and Alert Tones choices to suit your needs.
5. Simply **set the Alert Tone** to None to turn off the alert.

If you have any problems setting up an email account on your [iPhone 6s](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50387/how-to-fix-apple-iphone-6s-problem-on-calls-that-go-straight-to-voicemail), first check to see if your phone is connected to the Internet.
