If your iPhone's **Do Not Disturb (DND)** function is active, some alerts or alert sounds may be changed, with some exceptions. Certain DND features can be used to offer an alert sound for important phone calls. Allow Calls From is one of these options. With this option activated, you may select which calls you to want to accept. \
**Go to Settings-**> **Do Not Disturb-**> **Allow Calls** From to see whether it's enabled. If required, you can disable this function. You may also disable DND and then silence your iPhone by pressing the actual ringer button.
