When a new platform or software version is deployed, it's usual for certain programs to behave up. If this is the case, rogue programs must be forced to close. This clears up any software bugs and allows the program to refresh and resume correctly. On your **iPhone 7**, here's how to force close **Netflix** and other background apps: \

- To open the app switcher, **press the Home button twice fast**. It will show you previews of the application you've recently used but haven't closed.
- To clear the Netflix app preview, **swipe up.**

You may also remove all background programs to force them to cease and prevent them from interfering with your other apps.
