When dealing with minor software difficulties on your iPhone, a simple reboot (soft reset) might do a lot of good. It is safe since it does not alter or wipe any vital data saved on your iPhone's internal memory. You may r**estart your smartphone with iOS 11** by going to the Settings menu. \
Go to **Settings-**> **General-**> **Shutdown** to accomplish this. Here's how to do a basic r**estart if you prefer:** \
1. For a few seconds, **press and hold the Power button** until the Slide to Power Off label displays. 2. Drag the slider to completely **turn off your iPhone.** 3. **Press and hold the Power button for another 30 seconds**, or until the Apple logo shows. Wait until your iPhone has completely booted up before checking to see if the No [service error](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50445/how-to-fix-an-iphone-x-that-keeps-showing-no-service-error) has disappeared. \
If the problem remains after the initial restart, try restarting your iPhone once more. Give it at least three tries to reboot.
