**DND, or Do Not Disturb,** is an iPhone function that allows you to filter or prevent calls, messages, and email notifications. It's especially beneficial when you don't want to take your phone or be distracted by any incoming iPhone alerts while at work, in a meeting, or in the library. To rule out this as a possible cause, simply enable Do Not Disturb on your iPhone 7 Plus and see if this affects how notification alerts show on your device. \
To do so, go to **Settings->Do Not Disturb** and **hit the switch to disable the feature.** All calls and alerts on your iPhone 7 Plus will be enabled as a result. After making the changes, **restart your iPhone** then try to see how notification alerts are appearing on your device.
